Good is Not Good

By: Yehuda Berg

Sunday, November 22

Good is not good to the best.

Today, don't be comfortable with what you have learned and achieved up until now. Reach for new understandings, new accomplishments, new perspectives.

Golden Opportunities‏

By: Yehuda Berg

Saturday, November 21

Curtains are implanted in our consciousness, limiting our ability to perceive the true reality. As a result, situations that initially appear hopeless can be blessings in disguise.

Today, don't let your judgments blind you to the golden opportunities.

Be a Friend

By: Yehuda Berg

Friday, November 20

What's the key to happiness?

There are many. A big one is having people around you that love and support you.

Today, be a friend to someone. Put out what you want to receive. That's how you can create more happiness in your life.

Offer Praise Continually

Offer Praise Continually

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name"
(Hebrews 13:15, NLT)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Praise is a powerful weapon. Many times in the Old Testament when God's people would go into battle, they would send the worshipers out first. That's because praise precedes the victory. When you live a life that offers Him continual praise, you are setting yourself up to see continual victory.

Praise is more than just singing songs in church on Sunday. In fact, praise isn't even about singing songs. Praise is a heart attitude. Praise in your heart will prompt singing, but it can also manifest in many different ways. You can give Him praise in your words, your actions, and the way you live your daily life. Every time you obey His Word, when you continually follow His commands–even when it's uncomfortable, even when we don't feel like it, even when we are tired – that's offering a sacrifice of praise to Him.

As you go throughout your day, take time to acknowledge Him. Remember to put Him first and continually offer Him praise. As your praise goes up, His blessings come down. His peace comes down. His joy, His strength, and His victory will overtake every area of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father in heaven, today I choose to offer You continual praise. I choose to follow Your Word so that You may be glorified through me. Let everything within me honor and glorify You. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

I Am So Bored!

By: Yehuda Berg

Thursday, November 19

If we don't change, then we'll get bored. The teachings will sound the same, connections will feel the same, people will look the same.

It's because the Light is bouncing off the same old barriers.

Today, break a barrier - in a way you haven't done before.

Living the Abundant Life

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)"
(John 10:10, AMP)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Too many people today have a barely-get-by mentality, "Barely able to pay my bills, got an okay job, an okay marriage." Friend, don’t settle there. Jesus came so we could live an abundant life! That means an abundance of joy, an abundance of peace, an abundance of health, an abundance in our finances.

God’s dream is that you not only be blessed, but that you are so blessed that you can be blessing everywhere you go. He wants you to live an abundant life so that it overflows on to the people around you. We should have so much peace, so much joy, so much victory that when other people get around us, they begin to feel it. It affects them.

You may not be seeing it right now, but don’t get complacent and just settle where you are. Begin to declare by faith today, "Jesus came to give me abundant life." "My needs are supplied in abundance so that I can be a blessing to others." As you stay in faith, you’ll see your circumstances begin to turn around. You’ll see God move on your behalf, and you’ll experience the abundant life He has prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, today I release all the cares and burdens that are trying to drag me down. I know that You have a good plan for my life. I will continue in the faith and ask that You breathe Your new life throughout my whole being today. In Jesus' Name. Amen"

The Passion Killer

By: Yehuda Berg

Wednesday, November 18

Nothing kills passion like routine. You can be living the perfect life and still lose your juice if you are not learning new things and seeing different angels and angles all the time.

Today, stand on your head. Eat a different flavor donut. Brush your teeth with your opposite hand. Get into the mindset of doing the little things different, and the big things will emerge.

Continue in the Faith

Continue in the Faith

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"If indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard…"
(Colossians 1:23, NAS)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Have you been holding on to a promise or dream in your heart that seems to be taking a long time? When things don't go the way we've planned, it's easy to get discouraged and feel tempted to give up. But God wants to breathe new life into your dreams. He wants to breathe new hope into your heart. But you've got to do your part and shake off any negative, self-defeating thoughts. Instead of saying things like, "I'm never going to get there;" "I'm never going to break this addiction;" "I'm never going to get out of this problem;" your declaration should be, "I am closer than I think;" "I know I can do all things;" "I can overcome this sickness;" "I'm going to continue in the faith!"

I encourage you to get up each day knowing that this could be the day you get the break you need. This could be the day you see your health start to turn around. This could be the day your child comes back home. Don't give up now because God is about to open supernatural doors for you. Continue in the faith; keep your heart and mind focused on Him, and watch what He will do on your behalf!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, today I release all the cares and burdens that are trying to drag me down. I know that You have a good plan for my life. I will continue in the faith and ask that You breathe Your new life throughout my whole being today. In Jesus' Name. Amen"

Take it Away

By: Yehuda Berg

Tuesday, November 17

Take away all your possessions. Take away all your education. Take away all your money. What's left is all you are. Today, think about that. Every hour. What are you all about?

Pray For an Open Door

Pray For an Open Door

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"And at the same time pray for us also, that God may open a door to us…"
(Colossians 4:3, AMP)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
In this life, we are blessed with so many opportunities and privileges. In this day and age, we have tools and resources to figure almost anything out. It's easy to just depend on our own natural ability to make things happen. But God wants to be intimately involved in our lives. He wants us to come to Him, depend on Him, and allow Him to show Himself strong on our behalf. He wants to open those doors for you, and He wants you to know that He is the one working behind the scenes on your behalf.

Today, if you are looking for an open door, turn to God. Pray and ask Him to direct your every step. Keep asking, keep knocking, keep believing because God will open those doors before you. He will lead you and guide you into the abundant life He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, thank You for ordering and directing my steps. Today I come to You asking for an open door. I know that You will make a way even when there seems to be no way. I choose to trust You with every detail of my life! In Jesus' Name. Amen."

Know it All

By: Yehuda Berg

Monday, November 16

A great sage once said: to questions there are answers, but to answers there are no answers. Today, don't be a know it all. And you'll know it all.

Press Past Adversity

Press Past Adversity

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries"
(I Corinthians 16:9, NKJ)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Are you walking by faith or sight today? In other words, are you choosing to believe God no matter what your circumstances look like, or are you making decisions and focusing your mind on what you can see.

Remember, it's always darkest right before the dawn appears. I believe that you are about to give birth to that promise. The enemy sees the supernatural doors that are opened before you, and he will try his hardest to get you to quit, give up, and settle where you are. But if you'll just keep pressing past that adversity, if you'll keep praising, believing, and confessing God's promises, you'll make it through. You'll come out wiser and stronger, and you'll embrace every good thing God has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, thank You for the open doors You have prepared for me. I recognize that these challenges have not come to stay; they have come to pass. I choose to stand strong in You, knowing that You have blessing and victory in store for my future. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

What is Underneath?

November 15 — 21

In the olden days, if you had a question, you wrote it down and gave it to your local spiritual leader. He answered the question and the paper was returned to you — with your 'prescription'; sometimes a spiritual solution, sometimes a physical assignment to transform the situation.

The great kabbalists like the Baal Shem Tov never looked at a piece of paper. He could look at a paper and tell you everything about the person who wrote it down. He saw into their soul, into the root of their problem, and didn't diagnose and treat that problem. He treated the person.

In the medical world, symptoms present themselves, are diagnosed and treated. In homeopathy, there's often a deeper investigation, but the concept is similar.

In our own lives, and in the lives of those around us, we cannot treat people like pieces of paper and we cannot simply address questions.

We cannot treat the question. We must treat the person.

My mother and teacher, Karen Berg, often says that when a person comes to you with a problem, you cannot help them if you are coming from your perspective. You have to erase yourself — put yourself completely in their shoes and feel where they are coming from, regardless of where you are coming from.

If someone calls you and tells you what they are going through, you cannot listen to the issue. You must listen to the person. If someone says, "I'm angry", the simplest thing is to tell them to meditate or pray on it and let it go. But the question we must ask is, "Why are you angry, and who at?" The line of questions continues and we get to the real problem.

Unfortunately, the way that the world is right now, where there's a problem we look for a bandage. As long as we can stop the bleeding for now, we're good with that.

We need to realize the nature of the problem and make sure the solutions work long term.

If a person has a kidney problem and you give them Vicodin without knowing that they have addictive tendencies, you aren't solving any problems — you're adding to them.

We have to look at the big picture and make the effort to go at the solutions. That's what we are here to do — for ourselves and the world. This week, think about — perhaps even face — the people you're treating as problems, the problems you're not dealing with, and the solutions you know might take more effort, but will create a lasting change.

All the best,

Yehuda

Reason for Joy

By: Yehuda Berg

Sunday, November 15

Most of the time our happiness is reactive behavior. We let things or people be the cause of our happiness. True happiness has no reason. It's a choice.

Today, find one reason for joy. And focus on that for the day.

Show Up Now

By: Yehuda Berg

Saturday, November 14

There is tremendous energy in our vows. When we make a promise and don't keep it, we create black holes, voids, and no wonder we are uncomfortable or dissatisfied.

Today, show up when you say you are going to show up.

Watch Your Words

By: Yehuda Berg

Friday, November 13

Though we may find it difficult to accept, our hurtful words towards or about others has a cumulative negative effect in the spiritual realm, which in turn generates personal and global suffering. To eradicate the darkness and chaos from human existence, we must extinguish the parallel force in the upper worlds through mindful speech.

Today, if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all.

Walk by Faith

Walk by Faith

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"For we walk by faith, not by sight"
(II Corinthians 5:7, NKJV)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Are you walking by faith or sight today? In other words, are you choosing to believe God no matter what your circumstances look like, or are you making decisions and focusing your mind on what you can see.

As believers, we have to remember that we aren't just subject to this natural realm–what we can see, hear, touch, and smell. No, we have access to the unseen, supernatural realm where all the promises and blessings of God are stored. When you choose to walk by faith, you are opening a door from the natural realm to the supernatural realm and drawing the blessings of God into your life.

Remember: with God seeing isn't believing; believing is seeing! Throughout the day, begin to declare, "Father, I want to thank You that my payday is coming. You said no good thing will You withhold because I walk uprightly. I believe even right now You're arranging things in my favor." As you walk and live by faith, you will live a life pleasing to God. You'll see His blessing and favor in abundance, and you'll fulfill the destiny He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, today I choose to walk by faith. I choose to believe Your Word no matter what things look like in the natural. I know You are working behind the scenes, and You will open up doors of blessing and favor in every area of my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
