Fortify Your System‏

By: Yehuda Berg

Thursday, April 30

Kabbalah concurs with many holistic healers and practitioners on the idea that while we are exposed to countless bacteria, virus, and illness each day, it is our thoughts, words and behaviors that weaken our immune systems and allow dis-ease to set in.

As we continue to pray, meditate and send good wishes of healing Light across the globe, today let's take responsibility for fortifying our own immune systems, and collectively, the world's.

You Have Been Planted

You Have Been Planted

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain"
(John 12:24, NKJ)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
We all face difficulties and challenges in life. But you have to remember, as a believer in Jesus, you have the life-giving seed of Almighty God on the inside of you. When you go through disappointments or tough times, you may feel like you’ve been buried. You may feel like you’re in a dark, lonely place. You may feel like it’s the end, but in reality, it’s only the beginning. The fact is, you haven’t been buried; you have been planted. That means you’re coming back. And not only are you coming back, but you’re coming back in increase, better and stronger than before.

In those tough times, you’ve got to draw the line in the sand. Make a declaration, “This difficulty is not going to bury me. This loss, this disappointment, this injustice is not going to cause me to give up on my dreams. I refuse to live in self-pity. I know I am a seed. That means I cannot be buried. I can only be planted. I may be down, but it’s only temporary. I know I’m not only coming back, I’m coming back even better than I was before!”

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father in heaven, thank You for filling me with Your life-giving seed. I choose today to focus on the potential for my future. I know that I will overcome every obstacle by Your power that is at work in me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Helping Others Heal

his month is commonly referred to as the month of healing, and it offers us all the ability to instigate healing processes.

Here is an idea from the Ari concerning how to pray for other’s healing — and I hope it proves useful, because helping other people to heal is really what our own healing is all about.

The Zohar tells us that whenever a person performs a negative action, the record of that action is literally inscribed on their bones. If a negative action is performed with the hand, for example, the record of that action is literally written on the bones of their hand. That record then serves as the opening that allows negativity to enter.

But when we pray for another person, we literally envelop him in our presence. We may have negativity of our own, but it may not be in the same area that has caused the judgment in the other person. So when we envelop another person through prayer or other spiritual work, their body is no longer open to negativity. That is the way we can protect people — and even change negative energy into positive energy.

Whatever damage was drawing the negativity, it can no longer do so. As it is written, “When each one of us prays with our entire soul and with our whole body, through this we can protect another person” — because whatever opening there was for negativity, we cover it up.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that someone will instantly be healed just because we have prayed for them once. The power of our prayer depends on where we ourselves may be, and we may have to pray for someone many, many times. But the important thing to realize is how, each time we pray, we are exerting an influence. We are having an effect.

This lesson is something that we really need to put to use this month. When we pray for someone, we must realize that we are enveloping them in ourselves, and cutting them off from the influx of negativity.

The Secret History of the Zohar
Michael Berg

A concise history of one of the most influential – and misunderstood - spiritual masterpieces of all time. Michael Berg’s overview of the Zohar is a virtual timeline showing its connection with great historical figures and events throughout time. He addresses the myths surrounding this sacred work, and covers who first revealed it, who wrote it down, and who studied it — not just Jewish scholars, but Plato, Sir Isaac Newton, the Knights Templar, and other inquisitive thinkers. Michael clearly demonstrates the profound influence Zohar and Kabbalah have had on all the major disciplines, from literature and art to medicine and science.

This book is a great resource for students of Kabbalah and anyone interested in how the tradition of Kabbalah has impacted great thinkers throughout the ages. Yes, it's true that the origin of the Zohar is debated by academics, but the scholars of the Zohar who LIVE its wisdom generally agree. Michael Berg makes the history of the Zohar accessible to all.

Find out how the Zohar has impacted history and how it can impact yours.

Satan: An Autobiography
Yehuda Berg

“If you want to learn about why bad things happen, you can't avoid reading the words of the one responsible for it happening."

– Your Soul

It’s said that the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was in convincing the world that he doesn’t exist. In his latest book, Yehuda Berg uses the device of an “as told to” autobiography to explain the notion of The Adversary, an important concept in Kabbalistic wisdom.

Through this playful yet serious faux-bio, readers learn that Satan resides within everyone, manifesting himself as that nagging little voice of doubt and uncertainty, and that's how havoc is wreaked throughout the world. By doing the spiritual work that Kabbalah teaches, readers can banish negativity and evil influences from their lives, and eliminate chaos from the world.

Yehuda takes creative license with the narrative, presenting an accurate representation of Kabbalah’s view on the force of evil in the physical universe

The Swine Flu

By: Yehuda Berg

Wednesday, April 29

Here in North America, and I imagine all over the world, people are bracing themselves for the newest of plague-like epidemics: the swine flu.

We can try to scare this threat away from ourselves and our loved ones, or we can remove the darkness with Light.

Today, let's send as much Light as possible to the affected areas, and with that Light, not only eradicate all illness from our midst, but also create a blanket of protection over the unaffected areas as well.

If you pray, pray.

If you meditate, meditate.

If you make wishes, find a fountain today and toss in a penny for the well-being of the world.

Let God Arise

Let God Arise

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered…”
(Psalm 68:1, NKJ).

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Let me ask you today, what are you letting arise in your life? In other words, what are you focusing your words, energy, and thoughts on? You might say, “Oh, Joel, it’s just so hard right now. I lost a lot of money in the stock market.” “My health doesn’t look good.” “Somebody walked out on me.” No, you’re focusing on the wrong things. You’re letting defeat, discouragement, and self-pity rise up. Why don’t you turn that around and say, “God is still in control. Somebody may have walked out on me, but I know God is going to bring me somebody better.” “I may be hurting right now, but I know God is the restorer of my soul.” “I may have lost money in the stock market, but I’m not worried. I know God is my provider. He is supplying all of my needs. He is fighting my battles.”

When you start giving God glory and letting Him arise in your life, you can’t stay defeated. Your enemies will be scattered! They’ll tremble at your words of faith. Begin right now by declaring God’s goodness in your life and let Him arise so that you can move forward in the victory He has for you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father in heaven, I repent right now for allowing any negative, self-defeating thoughts or attitudes rise up in my life. You alone are my God, and I put my trust in You. I bless You today and always choose to look for the good things You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Look For Patterns

By: Yehuda Berg

Tuesday, April 28

Having our buttons pushed is one way to discover those traits that we need to correct. The other way that we can get a glimpse of our garbage is by looking for repetitive patterns that limit or block us. It's like the movie, "Groundhog Day," in which the same scenario occurs day after day after day.

Today, look for patterns in your life that do not bring you joy.

Wait With Confidence

Wait With Confidence

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"…See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm…"(James 5:7-8, NIV).

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria

In the book of James, the Bible tells us that we should wait for God’s promises like a farmer waits for his harvest. Now, I’ve never seen a farmer plant a crop and then worry night and day about whether or not it’s going to come up. He doesn’t lose sleep thinking, “Oh, I hope that my corn is going to take root. Please God, let my corn bring a harvest.” No, he waits with confidence, knowing that the harvest will come. He does his part, and he knows that seed will produce a good crop.
In the same way, we should wait confidently for the promises of God. We have to stand firm on His Word. It’s not enough to just hope that your situation is going to turn around. Instead of the attitude “I hope I get well”, have the attitude of confidence and say, “Thank You, Lord that I am getting well.” Start waiting like the farmer. Wait with a knowing. Wait with confidence. Be sure that as you put God’s Word into practice, just like the farmer, you will see that harvest of blessing in your own life in return.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Today, I choose to stand firm on Your Word. I choose to follow Your commands and believe that I will see Your promises come to pass in my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

World Of Action

By: Yehuda Berg
April 26 — May 2

I once heard a story that nicely illustrates our attraction to uncertainty and effort.

A bank robber is shot to death. When he wakes up he finds himself in a place where he can have everything he wants — beautiful women, fast cars, mansions with huge swimming pools, everything he could possibly desire. After a few days, boredom sets in.

He says to the manager of the place, "I need to do something exciting."

The manager says, "O.K. What would you like to do?"

"I'd like to rob a bank."

"OK, I'll arrange it; all you need to do is tell me when and where."

The man says, "No, no, no, you don't understand. I don't want your help. I want action. I want risk."

The manager says to him, "Things don't work that way in this place. Here you can rob a bank and the tellers will just give you the money. They won't call the police. There's no anxiety or worry."

The man starts complaining. "I don't want to stay in heaven," he says. "I want to go to hell."

And the manager replies, "Where do you think you are?"

I am not condoning bank robbery. The point is — and keep it close to your heart this week — you may complain about your struggle, but when you truly understand the process you are in, you will realize that everything is the way it needs to be so that you can earn what is coming to you. Gone will be the doubts, replaced with newfound purpose and vitality.

All the best,

Yehuda

Always Remember...God is Good!

Always Remember...God is Good!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. "
(Psalm 107:1, NLT).

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
As a young man growing up, I loved to play baseball. And like any child that ever put on a uniform, I dreamed one day of making it to “the big leagues.” In the world of baseball, there’s nothing bigger than Yankee Stadium, and on Saturday night, I stood at second base in front of a packed crowd.

But instead of a baseball glove in my hand, I had the Word of God. A dream had come true – and it was better than I could have possibly imagined.

Our historic night of hope from Yankee stadium was the first non-baseball event ever held at the world-famous ballpark, and it was also our first open air stadium event as a ministry. It was a night Victoria and I will never forget.

My prayer is that the tens of thousands in attendance and the millions more watching on television will always remember – God is good!

When it feels like your dreams will never come true, when the challenges, pain and pressures in life become overwhelming, you’ll be tempted to forget that God is good. His Word reminds us that His faithfulness and His love endure forever.

God’s goodness is stronger and mightier than anything you’ll face in life. If you’ll keep holding on to your dreams and thanking God for His goodness, He’ll make your dreams come true. And it’ll be better than you could ever have imagined.

On behalf of our entire ministry team, Victoria and I would like to thank you for helping to make this amazing night happen. We believe that God did something extraordinary in the hearts of everyone who experienced this powerful event. We know we could not have done it without your prayers and support.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, thank you for being so good and loving us so much. Help us to always give thanks, no matter what we’re going through, because we know that we can count on your faithful love that endures forever. Give us the courage to keep holding on to our dreams as we trust in you. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Daily Kabbalah Tune Up: 'Yes' To Everything

By: Yehuda Berg

Sunday, April 26

I witnessed an upsetting interaction recently between a mother and son where the mother said "no" to everything the kid said. She made him feel like something was wrong with him for expressing his feelings.

A parent who makes a habit out of denying his children's feelings is creating problems for that child down the road.

Today, put your point of view aside and understand where your kid (friend, boss, cousin ... ) is coming from. Empathy teaches kids to trust their feelings and intuitions, and it creates sensitivity to the feelings and needs of others.

Dear Friend,

Whether it's a person that loses hundreds of pounds, a sports team that goes from worst to first in a single season or a life-saving surgery for a child, we all love to see miraculous transformations.

Around the world, people are celebrating the greatest story of transformation of all time…the sacrifice that was made by Jesus on the cross…the message of Easter.

For some, it may seem like just another holiday, but the fact remains that it's the most powerful and life–transforming event that has ever taken place.

The miracle we celebrate in this season is the only true and eternally transforming miracle that gives us the gift of eternal life – through the shed blood of Jesus…who makes all things new.

And Jesus did this for you and me. And He's promised to give this same victory to everyone who puts their trust in Him!

Thank you for praying and partnering with this ministry as we continue to communicate the message of the gospel. Victoria and I want to wish you and your loved ones a blessed Easter. This year, receive His power and His promises – they are yours because of what Christ did for you on the cross.

And remember, no matter what challenges you're facing, we're believing that God will make all things new in your life!

Retool Your Programming

By: Yehuda Berg

Saturday, April 25

During your interaction today notice how often your responses are reactions. When a friend tells you something they did or how they are feeling, notice how automatically certain comments come off your tongue. These are programmed responses.

Today, if people have difficulty connecting with you, perhaps you need to retool your programming.

Burn the Paper

By: Yehuda Berg

Friday, April 24

Here is a technique for banishing fear that comes from a great kabbalist who lived during the 16th century, Rav Isac Luria (The Ari, the Holy Lion.)

Light a candle and sit down with a pencil and a small piece of paper. Write down your fear on the paper, and meditate upon it. Summon forth the feelings and symptoms associated with the fear. Then write down all the emotions and feelings that this fear causes you. Acknowledge to yourself that your own reactive nature, from this life or a past life, is responsible for the manifestation of this fear.

Now take the paper and burn it!

Find time to do this today. Many people get great relief from this simple technique.

A Historic Night of Hope and Celebration

A Historic Night of Hope and Celebration

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel…"
(Ephesians 6:19 NIV)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Tomorrow night is a big night for us.

I'm constantly praying and asking God to open doors for us to preach the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as we possibly can – and God keeps answering those prayers in powerful ways.

Saturday night, we're hosting "A Historic Night of Hope" at the brand new Yankee Stadium in New York City. This beautiful new ballpark just opened last week and our celebration of faith will be the first non–baseball event ever held at this world famous location.

The Yankees are celebrated around the world as champions – that's why I am so excited that we are gathering in this place to worship and honor the Greatest Champion the world has ever known…Jesus!

On behalf of our entire ministry team, I want to ask you to pray for us and this historic opportunity. I know that God wants the people of New York and around the world as it is televised live on the TBN network, to experience His love, His great blessings, and the hope we can call find in Christ. Victoria and I believe as you join with us in prayer, you'll experience these blessings in your life too!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, thank you for your great love for the people of New York City. Bless this Night of Hope with your presence and your power and give Joel the right words to share your heart with all those who need you. And help me to experience more of your hope and your power in my life too. In Jesus' name. Amen.
