Yes, Do It

By: Yehuda Berg

Sunday, October 25

The body consciousness has an attribute of laziness, of keeping things to itself. That's why it requires so much effort to give of ourselves. And yet, we are not our body. The body is merely a vehicle for the soul.

We don't think we are the computer just because we use one, do we?

Take a few steps back today and ponder this. Notice how often your soul says "Yes, do it!" and your body says, "Ah, don't bother."

What's In Store

By: Yehuda Berg

Sunday, October 25

Sometimes you just need patience. You can make every plan in the world, but there must be room for the Light to come in and guide you.

Today, be open and humble in order to understand what the Light really has in store for you.

Knowing is Happiness

By: Yehuda Berg

Saturday, October 24

Knowing God is at the heart of endless happiness. Not belief. Knowing. Belief implies the mind, and the mind can be fooled. But to know God means that when a challenge arises, even in the nanosecond before thought enters, you know in your heart and gut that it's a blessing.

Today, walk around knowing there is opportunity in all your fiscal, emotional and health challenges. Knowing flips on the Light when things seem dim.

In Due Season

In Due Season

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase and the trees of the field yield their fruit"
(Leviticus 26:4, AMP)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
God has set up seasons in our lives. It's easy to get frustrated when our dreams aren't coming to pass on our timetable, but every season is not harvest season. There are plowing seasons. There are planting seasons. There are watering seasons. Sure, we would love for every season to be a time of increase left and right, good breaks here and there. But without the other seasons, we wouldn't be prepared. For example, it's during the plowing seasons that God brings issues to light that we need to deal with. He's getting us prepared for promotion.

If you're not making as much progress as you would like, the key is to not lose any ground. Don't go backwards. Hold your position. Keep a good attitude and do the right thing even when it's hard. When you do that, you are passing the test, and God promises that your due season of harvest is coming. Be encouraged because your appointed time of increase, favor, and promotion is on its way, and He will fulfill every dream and desire He's placed within your heart!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, I bless You today. I thank You for preparing me for the blessing and promotion You have in my future. I surrender my heart, mind, will and emotions to You so that I can live as a testimony of Your work in my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

It's Judging Yourself

By: Yehuda Berg

Friday, October 23

We activate judgment in our lives when we place judgment on someone else.

Today, don't pay too much attention to what other people are doing and saying. Focus on your own deeds and words. The more you give into judging others, the more you invite that judgment into your own life.

Visits from God

Visits from God

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"…And God has visited His people [in order to help and care for and provide for them]!"
(Luke 7:16, AMP)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Every person has times of visitation from the Lord. These are the times when God distinctly intervenes in our lives to bring us help, direction, care, and provision. He's ordained special times to pour out His love, favor, and blessing. It may be through a person we meet, an unexpected promotion, or supernatural favor so that in a split second we are thrust years ahead. These marked moments in our lives keep us on the course of our destiny.

When you really understand this point, you don't have to be frustrated because things aren't happening as fast as you'd like. You don't have to worry about how things will turn out. All you have to do is stay in faith, knowing that God is directing your steps. As long as we keep believing, our marked moments are on their way. Don't allow the enemy to steal your joy or distract you by getting you focused in the wrong direction. Remember, God is on your side, and He is leading you and guiding you in the path of victory in every area of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, thank You for Your divine favor and direction on my life. I choose to release my cares today and trust wholeheartedly in You. Teach me to recognize those marked moments so that I can give all the glory and praise to You! In Jesus' Name. Amen."

Motivation To Change

October 18 — 24

Whether our addictions are hard or soft, we've all got them. I happened to have a conversation not long ago with two friends who are recovering drug addicts, and they shared that in their experience, what is key is what causes a person to work on their addictive behavior, or in other words, why they are willing to change.

And even if it's not drugs or alcohol, we all have things we need to change.

Unfortunately, chocolate cake is always going to taste better than broccoli. That is, unless, one day you go to the doctor's office and they tell you: one more piece of chocolate and you're going to die. Suddenly that chocolate looks like cyanide. Now there's a change that happens that transforms behavior.

You could be a 300 pound, 7 foot tall professional basketball player, and your sheer mass alone causes your knees to deteriorate every time you run back and forth on that court. What allows you to pay that price? The scoreboard. The possibility of a championship. The fame. The money. Even the love of the game.

You don't have to be an NBA star to understand what I'm talking about. Everyone has in their mind certain things they would like to do and/or certain things they are doing because of a perceived point system. There is some kind of reward system, where we perceive that certain realities are better than other realities. Or at least they will be one day.

There's a famous quote: laziness pays off today, work pays off tomorrow.

I'm not saying it's bad or good; it's simply the way we believe life works. If I sit on my behind and don't do anything, I'll be alone and penniless in a year, 2 years, or perhaps even 2 months. Sometimes there's an actual reward — money, benefits, acknowledgement, power. And sometimes there's just fantasy of reward.

However, when money or power isn't involved, when it's our ego that's got to change, there's really no reason to change. We hear how much ego is bad for us, we learn of certain things that are spiritually bringing us down, but do we really have an incentive to change that? Check in the mail? Promotion? Name in lights?

I'm sure some of you are thinking that we do have incentives to transform from within — our loved ones, to eliminate the chaos around us, to be better people. When you decide to change, are you guaranteed a payout? Do you know how much change is necessary to get 'promoted' in life?

There's at least one thing inside each one of us that really won't make a difference if we change it or not. The real question is what then is our real motivation to change?

90% of people are in a hell of some sort. Or at least, most people at some point in their life have been in this place. And quite often, it's being in that space that brings us closer to the Light. Being ambushed by chaos is usually the first motivation to turn on the Light. But after a while on the path, the motivation to change gets lost.

Whether you've been studying Kabbalah for one month, one year, 10 years or haven't even begun, this is the week to ask the question: what's my motivation to change? You can be facing addiction, fears, judgment, guilt, anger or any other demon for that matter, but if you're not successful in changing, it may be because you forgot why you're on this path in the first place.

Find (or relocate) your motivation. Use this 72 Name below as your homing device. As my friends pointed out so poignantly, it's all about what causes you to want to change.

All the best,

Yehuda

Two-way is the Best Way

By: Yehuda Berg

Wednesday, October 21

Real loyalty, real friendship, is being able to feel the pain of others and to go to hell for them in order to help them go to heaven. We go down, so that they can come up. And they'll do the same for us. Fake loyalty provides nothing of value to anyone. One-way relationships are pure ego. When there is only one person giving and only one receiving, that's ego at work.

Today, make sure their is a balanced give and take in your relationships. Two-way is the best way.

Marked Moments

Marked Moments

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"…time and chance happen to them all"
(Ecclesiastes 9:11, AMP)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
God created every one of us to be successful. Before the foundation of the world, He laid out an exact plan for our lives. In this plan, He has marked moments that are going to come across your path. These moments are not ordinary. They are destiny-altering moments. They are designed to thrust you years ahead.

Today's verse says that time and chance comes together for every person. That means you'll have opportunities to meet the right people, opportunities to advance in your career, and opportunities to fulfill your dreams. God has already prearranged times of increase, promotion, and blessing. You may not be seeing a lot of good breaks right now, but let me encourage you; in your future there are seasons of favor and increase! God has ordained moments in the supernatural to help you get ahead.

I encourage you today to see with your eyes of faith the good things God has in store for your future. Thank Him for what He's doing and what He's about to do. Thank Him for divine connections and marked moments, and thank Him for fulfilling every dream and desire He's placed within your heart!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, thank You for marked moments and divine opportunities in my life. I trust that You are working behind the scenes no matter what the circumstances look like. I choose today to keep my heart and mind focused on Your goodness, knowing that You are a rewarder of the people who diligently seek after You. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

A Faith Overcoat

By: Yehuda Berg

Tuesday, October 20

"Some people wear their faith like an overcoat. It only warms them, but does not benefit others at all." - Kabbalistic Saying

Today, meditate for someone in need. Do an action of sharing that will bring joy to someone who is depressed. Light a fire with your words and deeds that will warm another human being.

Out of the Pit

Out of the Pit

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on the solid ground and steadied me as I walked along"
(Psalm 40:2, NLT)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Do you feel like you are in a pit today? That pit can be frustration or disappointment or a feeling of discouragement, despair, or hopelessness. And maybe you can’t see a way out, but you’ve got to know that God is still with you, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Remember, God will never waste anything you go through in life. If you’ll keep the right attitude, He’ll turn that situation around for your good. It doesn’t matter how you got there, whether it was by your own poor choices or maybe someone else treated you unfairly, God wants to use that situation to do a work in you. He’ll take that evil and turn it around for your good. You may be uncomfortable at times, but you’ve got to know you are growing, and God is building your character.

Today, make the decision to shake off any negative, self-defeating mindsets. Choose to cooperate with God. Trust that He is preparing you for promotion. As you keep an attitude of faith, expectancy, and thanksgiving, He will lift you up and set you on the solid path of victory He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, today I lift my eyes to You, for my help comes from You. Thank You for doing a work in my life. Thank You for using every situation in my life for my good. I bless You today no matter what is going on around me, knowing that You have a good plan for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen."

We're All One ... Really

By: Yehuda Berg

Monday, October 19

We are all one. That is no big revelation these days. You get that from shoe ads. But, most of us don't live like we are all one.

One way we can do that is by being vulnerable, and exposing our truths, as spoken about in yesterday's email. Not only is there joy in it for us, but expressing our core feelings creates an opening for others to get in touch with theirs.

We are many grapes on the same vine. We all have pains and pasts and personal issues. The more we come out with ours, the more unity there is with those around us, and in turn, the world.

Today, continue being real. Take risks and tell people what you are really feeling. Don't attack or unload. Just stick to what is coming up for you.
