Some evangelists love to preach about the fear of God. The term implies that because God is so powerful and sometimes judgmental, we need to be afraid of the wrath of God.
Kabbalah sees it differently. In the original Old Testament, the term for fear of God is a derivative of the phrase "to see."
To see what? The cause and effect principle that governs our lives. God doesn't punish. We punish ourselves when we put out negative words and behaviors.
Today, pause before you react. Consider the consequences of any unkind words about to leave your lips. This will inspire you to be kind to both friends and frenemies alike.
