How do we protect ourselves in this day and age? Care. With our heart and soul and mind and money and values - care what happens to people. Start with the ones in front of you and go out from there.
We have to earn feeling the pain of others - if we don't feel the pain and if we don't care when someone gets lost along the way, then we can't expect the Light to protect and care for us.
You could be the biggest shot, the most "spiritual" guy in the room, and still not feel the care.
Today, look at people. Take them in. What's their movie? What's their past pain? What are their dreams and aspirations? God knows who really cares, and who's faking.
