We all have moments when our friends let us down. Beyond the obvious assumptions we make as to what is wrong with them, as spiritual-minded people we want to find what we may have done to bring that upon us.
One possible reason is the friendship we offered was contingent upon our receiving some form of benefit down the road.
Today, examine your relationships and see where there is an expectation. Offer unconditional love instead.
