Fountain of Youth

By: Yehuda Berg

Sunday, June 14

Keep growing your desire to receive. Make it bigger and bigger and bigger. Don't aim for things that have endings. We never want to aim for limitation. We're always looking for a way to expand and grow every day of our lives well into our hundreds.

This is the secret of not aging. If we want to find the fountain of youth, it's simple. Find a way to always be a channel of the Light and to grow that funnel, grow that desire so we're a constant wellspring of wisdom and Light in the world.

My father, The Rav, is a perfect example of this. He's quicker today at 80+ years old, than he was 20 years ago. Despite challenges, many teachers half and a quarter his age have trouble keeping up with his rhythm. How is this possible? Because we're talking about a Kabbalist. In his mind he always pushing himself younger and younger, always renewing his desires. He never stops looking for a way to reveal Light in the world. Nothing is going to stop him, so he doesn't grow old, he grows infused with more Light.

Today, shoot for the stars! Keep finding new ways to reveal yourself in the world.
