You Be the Judge

By: Yehuda Berg

Thursday, March 19

I can sit here and give you every metaphysical reason in the book why not to judge. And yet, telling someone not to judge is like telling them not to breathe. You can only hold your breath in for so long.

The key is to pay attention, to be aware of your judgements. Notice the reaction you are having towards the person. That's the key. Follow that feeling. It will lead to something you are not willing to confront. You might discover something new about yourself.

Today, when you judge someone else, look at what it is your judging. It might be a mirror for you. What is it revealing to you?
