Listen Up

When loved ones and friends come to us with their woes, we think we need to talk to solve the problem. However, with a little attentive listening, the answer often comes on its own.
Why do we have this compulsion to talk and fix and advise?
Today, hold your tongue, and resist the compulsion to talk. Simply be a strong shoulder, an open ear, and a warm heart.
