As the World Turns

By: Yehuda Berg

Thursday, December 18

It's raining here in Los Angeles. And it's freezing cold. I've been staring at this computer screen for 30 minutes not knowing what to write. I finally stood up to clear my head and I noticed a homeless man across the street seeking shelter under an awning. My heart broke for him, and is breaking still.

For me, when I feel this sadness for the world, [and I feel it daily], it lights a fire under me to get the words out, to inspire people to transform, to help my students choose giving over greed, to touch as many souls as I can.

We all have that God-given power. Let's use it today. Set aside a few minutes to meditate and send love into the world. The world turns [and burns] on a thought. Let's send some good ones out there that will help this man, and all the suffering people in the world.
