Cheesy, But It Works

The Light loves you. Sounds cheesy, but it's true. And seeing as how there is a spark of Light inside you, that means, you love you.

So why do so many people walk around hating themselves? There is a truth to this statement that only you can tell if it is real or not.

Today, wrap your arms around yourself and say, "I love you." I know, more cheese. But please do it anyway. And keep doing it until you mean it.

God longs to give you a glimpse of heaven while you are here on earth. He wants to show you His wonderful plan and bring it to pass in your life. Have you ever thought about how God's will is accomplished in heaven? In heaven, God's will is automatic. There are no opposing forces of darkness or anything that can come against His will. On earth, His will is activated in our lives first when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior; and then we must choose to come into agreement with His will on a daily basis in our thoughts, our words, and our actions. On earth, we have to stand against the forces of darkness. We have to refuse those negative, self-defeating thoughts. As you open your heart to the Word of God and invite His will to be done in your life, you are becoming one with the Father. Ephesians six tells us that we are empowered by our union with Him.

Today, declare God's Word over your life. Declare that His will be done in your life. As you stand strong in your union with Him, you will overcome opposition and see His will in your life…as it is in heaven!

How many times have a good friend or family member offended us and we cut them out of our life. It's like all those good times we've shared, and all the moments they saved our you-know-what doesn't matter.

Fortunately the Light doesn't have such a short memory. It keeps account of the sum total of all we've done in our life and doesn't single out the negative - as we're prone to do. The Light judges our lives based on the net value of the love we've shared with others.

Let's strive to have this same consciousness with our friends and loved ones today.

Now Faith Is


TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"
(Hebrews 11:1, KJV)



TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
What are you hoping for in your life today? The Bible says that faith gives substance to the things you hope for. Notice this verse starts by saying, "Now faith…" It's not "later" faith or "one day" faith. We have to have faith for today, right now.

So, what does it mean to have "now" faith? The Bible tells us that faith is simply believing in God's goodness and knowing that He rewards the people who seek after Him. It's believing that His Word is true–right now. Can you believe that God wants to move in your life, today? Do you believe He can provide for your need, today? Do you believe He can heal your relationship, today? Do you believe He can give you that promotion, today?

Whatever you are hoping for, open your heart and expect that God is working on your behalf, right now. Dare to believe that God will come through for you, today. Stand strong and declare that the victory is yours! As you water your faith with your words, you'll receive His strength and power and see God's hand moving in every area of your life!
